Hire City Council Facility

You can hire a number of facilities from the city council, for the specific department rentals you should visit the department in question. However, there are two main facilities in the City Hall premises up for hire. These are the Charter hall and the Conference hall; both sit 900 individuals.

How to Hire a City Council Facility

1. Go to City Hall’s Superintendant and Assistant Superintendant office, first floor, room’s 177/178/184/187
2. Select your desired date and the attendant will check the diary for availability.
3. Payment for hire and confirmation of date
   - Cost for Charter Hall – 32000/- ksh per day/ per night
   - Cost for Conference Hall – 28000/-ksh per day/per night

NB: Some functions (mainly overnight) may require a police permit which can be acquired from any police station in the city.
