OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARTER The City Council of Nairobi charter enhances levels of public awareness on the core values, key result areas, provide information on the range of services that are offered, the set standards , client's expectations, avenues for remedy where services fall short of standards and a mechanism for continuous improvement in service delivery in persuit of client satisfaction and excellence in our operations.

To provide and manage basic social and physical infrastructure to the residents of Nairobi. These services include basic education, housing, health, water and sewarage, refuse and garbage collection, planning and development control, urban public transport and fire services and fire brigade among others.

To be recognized as one of the most attractive cities in the world
[ +] Mission
To facilitate coordinated development and improved service delivery to stimulate economic activity, high quality of life and become one of the most attractive cities in the world.
